Creation from scratch of the offical website for The Maremma Sheepdog Club of Great Britain. Maremma Sheepdogs are a large white breed of dog originating from Italy. The website was intended to be viewed by club members and those interested in the Maremma breed. As the majority of visitors would have their intrests in dogs and would not have top end computers, the website design had to consider this. The website was designed to be viewable on an 800x600 screen with no horizontal scrolling. The layout was created using HTML tables, with the total width restricted to 600 pixles. This allowed the website to look just as good on small monitors, while on larger monitors a dark blue border would be shown. As the width of the page was already limited, the information for the website was devided into 5 sections. Links to each heading were put at the top of each page, with sub-links for the current section below. This website is not maintained by No More Grapes, however much of the original site remains. |
